All Voting is Local (Wisconsin)
Wisconsin Primary Canvass & Certification Monitor
Help ensure elections remain fair, transparent, and trusted by the public
Posted June 24, 2026
Background & Context
After every election in Wisconsin, County Boards of Canvassers meet to review and certify the official election results. These meetings are a critical part of ensuring our elections remain fair, transparent, and trusted by the public.
Immediate Problem
We need volunteers to attend these meetings and report back.
Work & Deliverables
We are recruiting volunteers to observe county canvass meetings following the August 11th election. Meeting timing will vary by county but largely expected to occur between August 17 and August 21.
Observers help promote transparency by attending public canvass meetings, taking notes on the process, and reporting back on how the certification process is conducted.
No prior experience is required — training and guidance will be provided. Volunteers should be comfortable attending a public meeting, remaining professional and non-disruptive, and submitting a short report afterward.
All Voting is Local (Wisconsin)
All Voting works every day to expose and dismantle threats to voter freedom and build a democracy for us all. Our theory of change recognizes that the business of running elections is year-round work, and so too is the work to build bridges with election officials to expand access to the ballot. Only through this consistent engagement, education, and advocacy can we ensure they use this authority to expand voter access to the ballot to the fullest extent. All Voting works to safeguard the rights of voters at the state and local levels, advancing fair, inclusive rules on voter registration, removing barriers that make it more difficult for people to vote, and ensuring every vote counts.
