Consent/release form for guests' stories and photos

Raise awareness of the cruel and dehumanizing treatment immigrants in detention experience so we can advocate for better conditions

Posted March 18, 2020

We host immigrants released from the local detention center in our hospitality home. Our guests have experienced the cruel system of detaining immigrants first hand. We want to use their stories to raise awareness and advocate for better conditions in detention centers.

Project Plan

Preparation Phase

  • I will send our release/consent form for the volunteer to review

Collaboration Phase

  • Ensure we have a release/consent form that will not hold us liable

We reunite families separated by immigrant detention, one simple act of love at a time. Our services include a post-release support program for immigrants released from detention, a hospitality home for families who have loved ones still detained and a visitation program within the detention center.
