At We The Action, we believe that lawyers have the power to protect and strengthen our democracy. That’s why this election cycle, we’re mobilizing thousands of lawyers to take action through our Voter Vanguard campaign. As part of the campaign, We The Action lawyers will donate 150,000 hours to protect the right to vote in 2024.

Elections should always be free, fair, and safe. But in recent years, the right to vote has been under threat. This year alone, at least 284 bills that restrict voter access have been introduced nationwide. In 14 states, at least 17 new voter suppression laws will be in effect for the 2024 general election.

These challenges are a call to action. We The Action’s Voter Vanguard will identify and address election administration problems, combat voter purges, educate voters about their rights, and protect the vote at polling places and call centers across the country.
