When We All Vote
Voter Registration Training for Tucson Unified School District on 10/16
WWAV will work with TUSD to register every eligible student to vote
Posted October 11, 2019
When We All Vote (WWAV) is partnering with the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) to host professional development trainings to guide schools in the steps it takes to build a successful voter registration program. Trainings are focused on supporting teachers and students in adopting voter registration programs in their school. As part of these trainings, WWAV will provide state-specific voter registration guides, step-by-step guidance on establishing a program, as well as best practices and other materials to use in schools and classrooms. We're looking for a volunteer lawyer to help! As part of the TUSD training scheduled for Wednesday, October 16, the volunteer will serve as a speaker and provide a brief overview of applicable voter registration laws.
