Election Official Legal Defense Network
PA Attorneys Needed to Support PA Election Officials
Protect PA election workers reporting harassment and attempts to undermine their job duties
Posted September 11, 2024
Background & Context
The battleground state of Pennsylvania has a high percentage of election officials who are harassed on the job. They ask EOLDN for individual representation to help them withstand and respond to harassment and intimidation.
Immediate Problem
Election officials should be supported on the job so they can focus on running free and fair elections for their communities.
Work & Deliverables
The Election Official Legal Defense Network (EOLDN) is a project designed to provide election officials with pro bono legal help in response to the increasing wave in harassments, threats, and state laws subjecting them to criminal penalties for performing their jobs.
EOLDN has received requests for legal assistance from election officials in Pennsylvania. The requests report harassment, threats, and attempts to undermine the election officials' job responsibilities.
We need actively practicing attorneys in Pennsylvania to join the network and stand by to help.
Preparation Phase
- EOLDN will send a participation form to be completed
