Help an education nonprofit with a copyright matter for a very popular teacher resource
We want to continue to provide a digital resource that has proven to be very popular for educators, especially as they navigate change management related to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

Background & Context
One of the most popular resources on our website is a tool that supports education leaders on change management within their schools and districts. We received correspondence from someone who claims to have the copyright to this material, even though it is published in several places as part of the public domain. We need help vetting the related information and making a choice about if/how we can continue to offer this tool to educators who need it.
Work & Deliverables
We need a volunteer to review the resource in question, correspondence with the person who claims to have the copyright, an Amazon Web Services takedown notice, and related information. Next steps could involve correspondence on our behalf and advice on if/how we can adapt the material for our website.
The Learning Accelerator
The Learning Accelerator (TLA) is building a world in which each student receives the effective, engaging, and equitable education they need to reach their full and unique potential. As a national nonprofit, TLA is accelerating individual, organization, and sector learning to transform K-12 education. Now in our 10th year of operation, we’re working alongside educators across the nation to advance a research-informed vision for equitable teaching and learning that is personalized, mastery-based, and comprehensively developing. By actively bridging gaps in understanding and access to necessary resources, tools, and networks and through catalyzing greater collective action and change, we’re making the ‘potential’ possible for every learner.
