Support Mississippi's Dreamers Complete DACA Applications

The Mississippi Center for Justice seeks attorneys to prepare initial and renewal applications for DACA.

Background & Context

The Supreme Court ruled on June 18, 2020 that the manner in which President Trump attempted to cancel the DACA program was illegal. On July 17, 2020, a district court judge in Maryland ordered USCIS to begin accepting initial DACA applications again.

The Mississippi Center for Justice is leading a statewide campaign to enroll first-time and renewal DACA applicants for the 2-year deferred status program. The total work will consist of less than five hours and consist mostly of communication with your client, receiving evidentiary documents, and completing the application packet. All of the work will be done remotely.

Work & Deliverables

MCJ is looking for pro bono attorneys who will complete DACA applications with Mississippi Dreamers.
