Background & Context
We are currently providing these services without being incorporated or having 501c(3) recognition. We need the organization formed to fundraise to provide services to more people.
Work & Deliverables
Initially, we need guidance on the process and what the group needs to prepare for the process.
We will need additional help drafting articles of incorporation, bylaws, and the IRS filings.
Alexandrians Supporting Alexandrians
We started as a group of neighbors helping neighbors with new needs due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We currently provide food & supply assistance to over 25 families each week. We have a robust volunteer corps of over 100 people and partnerships with four local organizations. We provide supplies and delivery services that the other organizations don't have the resources to provide.
