Draft Template Partnership Agreement For Use With Corporate Funders

Starting last year, about 48% of our operating budget has come from corporate funders. We've grown and now need stronger legal supports in place to help us.

Posted October 28, 2019

Project: We are looking for a lawyer to draft a standard partnership agreement for She Should Run.

We've recently heard from some great corporations that they want to support She Should Run financially through partnership engagements. They've each requested a Partnership Agreement. We don't have anything standard and would love to know any template we use is legally enforceable and appropriately protects our trademarked branding as well as anything else we should consider.

Partnerships usually take the form of 1) partners using our logo and brand to get customers to buy a product they're selling, and telling the customer that a percentage of the proceeds will go to She Should Run, or 2) partners wanting to sponsor our programs and include their branding in our promotional materials.

She Should Run is a nonpartisan nonprofit promoting leadership and encouraging women from all walks of life to run for office. We are driven by a vision of seeing 250,000 women run for office by 2030. #250kby2030. Our programs provide an approachable starting place and network for women leaders considering a future run by providing community, resources, and growth opportunities. We believe that women of all political leanings, ethnicities, and backgrounds should have an equal opportunity to lead in elected office and that our democracy will benefit from the varied perspectives and experiences that women bring to leadership.
