Background & Context
AsylumWorks provides tailored services to educate, equip, and empower newcomers seeking safety to overcome health, legal, and employment barriers. We are hosting a resource fair for our clients on April 24, 2026, at the Washington English Center, located at 1100 G Street NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC, 20002, from 10 AM - 2 PM. While the event will focus on employment and education opportunities for clients, we will also have a table for legal consultations, case referrals, and document review. Most of our clients are refugees, SIVs, asylum-seekers, asylees, or parolees. An AsylumWorks Partial DOJ Accredited Representative will be present to answer client questions and provide referrals, if appropriate, to AsylumWorks’ pro bono and low-bono attorney network. For matters that fall outside the scope of the representative’s accreditation, an immigration attorney will be needed to provide consultations for our clients.
