DHS & State advocacy for approved, vetted and ready to travel USRAP Afghan ally family

Resettlement to the US of approved, vetted, ready to travel Afghan ally family

Posted January 24, 2025

Background & Context

USRAP applicants were all set to travel to the US and then all resettlement flights were cancelled due to the new EO.

Immediate Problem

USRAP applicants are in a VERY dangerous situation in PAK and need to get out immediately. All applicants worked for or with Americans when they were in AFG so are at extreme risk until they arrive here in the US.
