Background & Context
At Cambio Labs, we design and provide innovative social entrepreneurship and green workforce development programs, alongside cutting-edge digital learning platforms for underserved BIPOC adolescents and young adults, empowering them to become the changemakers our communities need.
We have invested a lot of love and time into developing our software and would like to protect our intellectual property to continue to work on making social entrepreneurship education more accessible to youth everywhere!
Immediate Problem
While we have benefited from amazing partnerships, we have faced lags in payments for our services that have created significant strains on our cash flow. We have invested a lot into software development and want to become sustainable and scalable by being able to partner with other organizations to make this available to more students. We would like support in building contracts and practices to protect our students, teams, and stakeholders.
Work & Deliverables
We seek pro-bono legal aid to develop and embed intellectual property protection for our educational platform, Journey, and our broader learning curriculum. We would like to create patents and licensing agreements to protect Cambio Lab’s intellectual property in the long-term.
