Seeking Dari, Pashto, and Farsi speakers to help Afghan refugees

Support Afghanistan by eliminating language barriers

Posted August 20, 2021

Background & Context

Tarjimly provides free interpretation and translation to refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers and those who serve them. Our volunteers assist people seeking a range of different support services, and legal background knowledge and vocabulary can be very useful for providing high-quality translation and interpretation services.

Immediate Problem

Afghan refugees and immigrants who don't speak English will encounter language barriers that can affect the services they receive.

Work & Deliverables

We are looking for passionate humanitarians speaking Dari, Pashto, and Farsi to serve as translators and interpreters. Volunteers can eliminate language barriers and help Afghan refugees get the support they need.

Through the Tarjimly mobile app, volunteers will receive notifications when someone is in need of interpretation or translation. Volunteers can choose to accept or reject the request based on their availability.
