Lattimore Complaint

Isolate organization liablity from a client's self-inflicted issue beyond initial request.

Posted July 23, 2021

Background & Context

Requested need/project in February 2021 was to replace broken kitchen vanity, and repair flooring. Vanity was replaced and flooring repaired.
Months later (late June 2021) clients son claims completed work damaged plumbing and created a sever leak. We explained that the leak was caused by the line being damaged by client and not faulty workmanship. Son finallky acknowledged the timing issue but feels we should "SHARE" in the repair costs. Concerned that the self righteous son may persue legal remedy. Futher, the well earned GHP reputaion may becone damaged due to clients local associations.

Immediate Problem

Should we consider "sharing" in the repair cost? Client could turn in a new request for service.
By sharing, does that indicate guilt on the part of GHP that may lead to further pursuit by the client?

Work & Deliverables
