Background & Context

Knology is a small research, evaluation & strategic planning nonprofit collaborating with cultural institutions to strengthen impact. We have an extensive set of HR policies and employee handbook as well as 10 staff across the US. It is our understanding that recent government regulations have changes certain compliance needs and we are seeking expert legal review of our policies and documents to ensure we are compliant.

Immediate Problem

We would like to continue to operate while adhering to government regulations especially has we have historically received a lot of our funding from federal research grants.

Work & Deliverables

We are seeking legal review of our HR policies and company handbook in relation to recent changing in government regulations

Project Plan

Preparation Phase

  • Schedule a call with management to discuss our documents and concerns regarding compliance.

Collaboration Phase

  • A detailed review of the company handbook and HR policies

Wrap Up

  • Meet with management to review track changes edits and answer questions.
  • Mentorship or guidance on future suggestions for compliance
