Represent or Advise in Civil Negligence Litigation

Assist a low-income formerly incarcerated person with son injured in a truck accident

Posted April 28, 2021

Immediate Problem

We need assistance for a low-income, formerly-incarcerated individual, who is being sued by cross-complaint in a civil negligence case in Riverside County, CA. The client's son was hit by a FedEx truck while walking around a neighbor's car that was blocking the driveway. Son's mother is suing Federal Express Corporation and the driver of the truck for negligence. Federal Express Corporation and the driver are suing the client for negligence via cross-complaint. The client has no experience navigating a civil case, particularly against a large corporation, and does not have the means to pay for an attorney.

Work & Deliverables

We are seeking a volunteer to either represent the client in the civil negligence case in Riverside County, CA or to provide pro per guidance to the client.
